----- Notes on the Long Range Acquisition Estimates (LRAE)
      ----- Database Viewing Program

      This program contains the same data used to generate the hardcopy
      version of the LRAE and the electronic text version available on
      the Air Force Small Business Bulletin Board (AFSB3) on the GEine
      computer information system.
      
      The Database Viewing Program is comprised of the following files:
          AIRTEXT.TXT  -- A text file of the LRAE News Release. (if
                          available)
        * LRAEDATA.DBF -- LRAE Database.
        * LRAEDATA.DBT -- LRAE Database memo file.
        * LRAEDATA.NTX -- LRAE Database index file.
        * LREAD.EXE    -- The program file.
        * PRNT_LST.DBF -- Data file used by the program.
        * PRNT_LST.DBT -- Data file used by the program.
          README.TXT   -- The file you are reading.
        * RR5_PR1.MEM  -- Printer definition file.
        * RR5_PR2.MEM  -- Printer definition file.
        * RR5_PR3.MEM  -- Printer definition file.
        * RR5_PR4.MEM  -- Printer definition file.
        * RR5_PR5.MEM  -- Printer definition file.
        * RRCGIN.DBF   -- Printer control file.
      
      * files must be present for the program to execute properly.

      There should be more than 5Mb of available hard disk space in
      order for the program to perform the data searches and print
      routines.  Other system requirements include:
          IBM PC compatible computer (8088, 80286, 80386, or 80486)
          At least 512 Kb of free memory
          DOS version 3.3 or higher
          A monitor capable of displaying 43 lines (EGA or VGA)
          Files = 20 (minimum number)
          Buffers = 8 (minimum number)
      
      In addition there should be a printer attached to LPT1 that is
      capable of emulating one of the following printers:
          HP Laserjet +
          IBM Proprinter
          Epson LQ Printer
          IBM Laser Printer
          HP Laserjet III

      Estimated RFP & Award Dates:

          "1/95"  =  First Quarter (Oct-Dec) - Fiscal Year 95
          "2/95"  =  Second Quarter (Jan-Mar) - Fiscal Year 95
          "3/95"  =  Third Quarter (Apr-Jun) - Fiscal Year 95
          "4/95"  =  Fourth Quarter (Jul-Sep) - Fiscal Year 95
